Dastoli Digital at the Director's View Film Festival 2003

Dastoli Digital at the Director's View Film Festival 2002
On Saturday, February 15 and Sunday, February 16, 2003, Dastoli Digital's submissions for the 2003 Director's View Student Film Festival were screened in competition. On Thursday February 13, an article in the Stamford Advocate's Week End supplement mentioned Dastoli Digital's return. Starting where the previous year's submissions left off, the six entries from Dastoli Digital were The Black Iris, Mr. Downtown, Aux Armes Citoyens, Amalgamated Metal Screw Co. of Bismark, North Dakota, Nice Night for a Murder, and Under the Gun. After launching a Dastoli Digital at the Director's View ad campaign (with pictures below), the first festival event was a pre-festival cocktail reception at Saks Fifth Avenue on February 6th. During the festival itself, Mr. Downtown, Amalgamated Metal Screw Co. of Bismark, North Dakota, Aux Armes Citoyens, and Under the Gun were screened at the Ferguson Library on Saturday. Later in the evening, there was a filmmakers reception at the Stamford Marriot. On Sunday, the remaining two films, The Black Iris, and Nice Night for a Murder, were screened, and then there was a special screening of Aux Armes Citoyens later that night at the Silvermine Guild Arts Center in New Canaan, with a following discussion and interview.
